The Academy is an educational outreach initiative of the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau, designed to empower middle-level employees across Summit County's diverse & vibrant hospitality industry.
Information and knowledge provide the foundation upon which a strong & lasting work ethic rests. Academy class members will develop & refine core skill sets throughout the nine month curriculum, presented by leading local, regional and national industry experts.
Summit County's hospitality industry continues to thrive through the hard work and dedication of our workforce. Therefore, the Bureau is committed to doing our part to ensure the future of our travel & tourism destination remains a beacon of exceptional excellence.
